about

I wrote and dedicated this one to a very special bass player who goes by the name of Bass Goddess Greta. I will always remember the first time I saw her live on my tv screen when she performed with recording artist Moby. I was instantly impressed and knew she was special. I never thought I'd ever meet her and much less become a fan-friend of hers later on. She brought back to me in her own ways the passion and fun in making music. This woman is a survivor and I find her truly inspiring! Thank you Greta.

lyrics

Lyrics:

Girl you ran, you ran away from home
Don't look back is what you said to him
In time Bass Goddess, he will see... he'll see

On those streets, you have gotten a little dirty
In his arms, you have gotten a little bruised
On that stage, you have learned to survive...to survive

Oh, where have those dreams gone to? Where is your life? What has it become? Those times you have known are there in your heart you could never let go.

No regrets, no time for bitterness
In this world, where you've been twice around
Oh how many corners you have turned...you've turned

Girl you took my breath away from me
I saw you once on my TV screen
I thank you now for all those...illusions

Oh, where have those dreams gone to? Where is your life? What has it become? Those times you have known are there in your heart you could never let go.

Oh, where have those dreams gone to? Where is your life? What has it become? Those times you have known are there in your heart you could never never let go.
