Background story:

Murmur of the Heart was the first song I recorded with music producer Jamie Muffett towards the middle of 2011. Starting a music project with a new producer can be challenging at times because you don't always know if it'll work out. It's like in any kind of relationship, the chemistry has to be there in order for the collaboration to be rewarding. I think of myself very fortunate to have gotten the chance to record some songs with Jamie. He challenged me in ways that took me out of my comfort zone. He pretty much had me learn and record my vocals for the songs on the spot making me indirectly more of a confident singer. Murmur Of The Heart was one of the many songs that was created with him in an organic manner. In a way, he always did mention to me that "the best plan is to have no plan at all." Murmur Of The Heart I believe is a perfect example of that. It is my personal favorite of all the songs I recorded with Jamie.
